About Moshe Elisha – Continuing a Legacy of Art, Faith, and Inspiration

Moshe Elisha, Vice President of Business Development at HUVY’S, represents the third generation of a unique artistic and spiritual legacy. He is the son of Robert Elisha, the chief curator of the gallery, and the grandson of the renowned Israeli impressionist painter HUVY (Ahuva) Elisha, after whom the gallery is proudly named

Carrying forward this remarkable family heritage, Moshe sees his role not only as a professional responsibility but as a cultural and spiritual mission. For him, HUVY’S is much more than a gallery it is a beacon, an “or la’goyim” (light unto the nations), sharing the beauty of Judaism and Israel with the world. Through his work, Moshe strives to present Jewish life, faith, and joy in their most authentic and inspiring forms, while also highlighting the breathtaking landscapes of the Land of Israel as captured in his grandmother HUVY’s paintings.

Building Bridges Through Art and Culture

In Moshe’s vision, the gallery is more than just a showcase of fine art it is a hub for cultural and business connections, a place where people from all over the world can come together.

HUVY’S serves as a meeting point where Israeli art encounters entrepreneurship, inspiration, and international dialogue. Visitors discover not only the timeless works of HUVY but also the deeper values of Jewish heritage, Israeli creativity, and global connection.

Through carefully designed exhibitions, collaborations, and strategic partnerships, Moshe works to expand the reach of HUVY’s art to diverse audiences. His approach transforms the gallery into a global bridge uniting communities, cultures, and individuals through the universal language of creativity.

Strategic Leadership and Global Vision

As VP of Business Development, Moshe Elisha leads strategic initiatives that make HUVY’s legacy more accessible worldwide. His focus includes:

Expanding International Exposure – Showcasing HUVY’s works in global exhibitions and cultural events.

Fostering Partnerships – Building collaborations between artists, entrepreneurs, and cultural institutions.

Promoting Israeli Heritage – Using art as a tool for storytelling, advocacy, and cultural diplomacy.

Creating Lasting Connections – Encouraging dialogue and mutual inspiration between communities.

Moshe believes that art has the power to transcend borders and foster empathy, understanding, and unity. By carrying forward his grandmother’s vision, he ensures that HUVY’s art continues to inspire not only art lovers but also anyone seeking meaning, beauty, and connection.

Continuing the Elisha Family Legacy

The Elisha family’s story is one of faith, resilience, and creativity. From HUVY’s vibrant brushstrokes that captured Jewish spirit and Israeli landscapes, to Robert’s curatorial expertise, and now Moshe’s global leadership, each generation has contributed to shaping a unique cultural heritage.

Moshe’s mission is clear: to share this legacy with the world, ensuring that HUVY’s art continues to resonate with people from all walks of life, sparking dialogue, inspiration, and hope.

At HUVY’S Gallery in Jerusalem, Moshe Elisha embodies the meeting point between tradition and innovation, art and business, Israel and the world.
