Huvy elisha
Huvy (Ahuva) Elisha, born in Jerusalem in 1927, was an extraordinary artist who bridged two seemingly opposite worlds: deep Jewish tradition and European impressionist art. At just 14 years old, she was accepted to the prestigious Saint Martin’s School of Art in London, becoming the youngest student in its history.

Robert elisha
Curator of the gallery and son of artist Huvy (Ahuva) Elisha, Robert guides the collection with deep insight into his mother’s layered work and the broader legacy of global art.
With wisdom and sensitivity, he weaves past, present, and future into a unified vision, allowing HUVY’S to transcend boundaries and offer an aesthetic and spiritual experience that resonates in wondrous harmony between heaven and earth.

moshe elisha
Moshe Elisha, Vice President of Business Development at Huvy's represents the third generation of a unique artistic and spiritual legacy. He is the son of Robert Elisha, the chief curator of the gallery, and the grandson of the renowned Israeli impressionist painter HUVY (Ahuva) Elisha, after whom the gallery is named.

HUv'ys paintigs
Her paintings, rich in vibrant colors and profound emotion, portray Jewish life weddings, Hasidic dances, the landscapes of Jerusalem, and blooming poppy fields.

HUv'ys journey
After years in Europe, she returned to Jerusalem and settled in the Mea Shearim neighborhood, where she lived and worked until her passing at the age of 94. Despite international success, she chose a life of modesty and joy, continuing to create with deep spiritual devotion.

I had the honor of accompanying him in the planning and design of this place a unique gallery in Jerusalem that combines art and real estate. Moshe and his father are wonderful people, honest and full of heart, and I am certain their projects will become true landmarks in the city.
Sincerely,
Yohan Levi
A highlight of our many trips to Jerusalem over numerous years is visiting our favourite art gallery, Huvy’s. Not only are we inspired by the exceptional artwork but we have been privileged to build a close relationship with the owner Reb Rachmim Elisha, who has become a trusted advisor, friend and partner in charitable endeavors. The walls of our home, and our children’s homes, are adorned with magnificent pieces from Huvy which bring us endless joy and connection to our precious Jewish heritage.
